Gardegan-et-Tourtirac ( Occitan Gardegan e Tortirac ) is a southwestern French community with 281 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Castillon-la-Bataille ). The inhabitants are called Gardeganais .

location

Gardegan-et-Tourtirac is located about 45 kilometers east-northeast of Bordeaux . Gardegan-et-Tourtirac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Philippe-d'Aiguille in the north, Les Salles-de-Castillon in the north and northeast, Saint-Michel-de-Montaigne in the east and southeast, Belvès-de-Castillon in the south , Sainte-Colombe in the southwest and Saint-Genès-de-Castillon in the west.
