Grézillac ( Occitan : Gresilhac ) is a French village with 695 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015: Canton Branne ). The inhabitants are called Grézillacais .

geography

Grézillac is located about 28 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux and about nine kilometers south-southeast of Libourne . The Dordogne limits the municipality in the northeast. Grézillac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulon in the north, Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens in the north and northeast, Branne in the northeast, Lugaignac in the east, Guillac in the east and southeast, Daignac in the south and southwest, and Tizac-de-Curton in the west.
