Saint-Martin-du-Bois is a southwestern French community with 862 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Le Nord-Libournais (until 2015: canton of Guîtres ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Martinois .

Saint-Martin-du-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Maransin in the north, Saint-Martin-de-Laye in the north-east, Bonzac in the east and south-east, Savignac-de-l'Isle in the south, Galgon in the south and south-west and Saint- Ciers-d'Abzac to the west.
