Cabara is a southwestern French community with 513 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015 Castillon-la-Bataille ).

location

Cabara is about 40 kilometers east-northeast of Bordeaux . The Dordogne river limits the municipality to the north and east. Cabara is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vignonet in the north, Sainte-Terre in the east, Saint-Aubin-de-Branne in the south and south-west, Branne in the west and Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens in the north-west.
