Egemen Taşboğa (born March 28, 1986 ) is a former Turkish ice hockey player .

Career

Egemen Taşboğa began his career as a hockey player with Başkent Yıldızları SK . In 2001 he moved to the club of the police academy in the Turkish Super League , with which he was Turkish national champion in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 . In 2010 he moved to the second division Truva Ankara , with whom he was promoted to the super league in 2011. In 2012 he returned to his home club, where he ended his career in 2013 at the age of only 27.

International

For Turkey, Taşboğa took part in 2001 in the qualification for Division III of the U18 World Cup , the U18 World Championships of Division III in 2002 , 2003 and 2004 and the U20 World Championships of Division III in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2006 . He also played with the Turkish student selection at the 2011 Winter Universiade in Erzurum .

The striker played with the men's national team at the Division III World Championships in 2008 , 2009 , when promotion to Division II was successful, and 2011 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 .
