Ligueux is a French municipality with 166 inhabitants (1 January 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides .
geography
The municipality is located around 20 kilometers southwest of Bergerac on the border with the neighboring Dordogne department in the Sainte-Foy-Bordeaux wine-growing region . Neighboring communities are:
- Saint-Philippe-du-Seignal in the north,
- Razac-de-Saussignac in the northeast (Dép. Dordogne),
- Monestier in the southeast (Dép. Dordogne),
- La Roquille in the southwest and
- Pineuil in the northwest.
The municipality's capital is located near the eastern border of the municipality, which is formed by the Seignal river , which flows into the Dordogne about ten kilometers further north .
