La Lande-de-Fronsac ( Occitan La Landa de Fronsac ) is a southwestern French municipality with 2412 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Le Libournais-Fronsadais (until 2015: Canton Fronsac ).

La Lande-de-Fronsac is located about 22 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux and about 13 kilometers northwest of Libourne . La Lande-de-Fronsac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Salignac in the north, Vérac in the northeast, Tarnès in the east, Cadillac-en-Fronsadais in the south, Saint-Romain-la-Virvée in the southwest and Saint-André-de-Cubzac in the west .
