Camiac-et-Saint-Denis ( Occitan : Camiac ) is a French village with 362 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Libourne and the canton Les Coteaux de Dordogne (until 2015: Canton Branne ). The inhabitants are called Camiacais .

geography

Camiac-et-Saint-Denis is located about 28 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux and about nine kilometers south-southeast of Libourne . The Dordogne limits the municipality in the northeast. Camiac-et-Saint-Denis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Quentin-de-Baron in the north, Espiet in the east, La Sauve in the south, Cursan in the west and Baron in the north-west.
