Gours is a southwestern French community with 571 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Libourne and the canton of Le Nord-Libournais (until 2015 Lussac ). The inhabitants are called goursois .

location

Gours is about 37 kilometers east-northeast of Bordeaux on the Isle , which borders the municipality in the north. Gours is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Antoine-sur-l'Isle in the north, Moulin-Neuf in the east and northeast, Minzac in the south and east, Puynormand in the west and southwest and Saint-Seurin-sur-l'Isle in the west and Northwest.
