The Seignal is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises under the name Ruisseau de Bernadou in the municipal area of Loubès-Bernac , generally drains in a north-westerly direction and flows into the Dordogne as a left tributary after 22 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Avit-Saint-Nazaire and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande . On its way it crosses the Lot-et-Garonne and Gironde departments and also forms the border with the neighboring Dordogne department over a length of about 12 kilometers .
