Beautiran ( Occitan : Bautiran ) is a French commune in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the closer catchment area of the city of Bordeaux . While Beautiran had 1,014 inhabitants in 1962, it currently has 2267 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
The municipality belongs to the canton of La Brède in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux .
