Saint-Selve is a French commune in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the immediate catchment area of the city of Bordeaux in close proximity to the A62 Bordeaux-Toulouse motorway. While Saint-Selve had 661 inhabitants in 1962, there are currently 3026 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
The municipality belongs to the canton of La Brède in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux .
