Ludon-Medoc is a French municipality with 4771 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bordeaux and the canton of Les Portes du Médoc . The inhabitants are called Ludonnais .
geography
Ludon-Médoc is located north of Bordeaux in the Médoc landscape . At the southern municipal boundary , the Jalle de Ludon flows into the Garonne , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. Ludon-Médoc is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Macau in the north, Ambès in the northeast, Saint-Louis-de-Montferrand in the east and southeast, Parempuyre in the south and Le Pian-Médoc in the west.
Ludon-Médoc is located in the Haut-Médoc wine region .
