Ayguemorte-les-Graves ( Occitan : Aiga Morta de las Gravas ) is a French commune in the Gironde department in the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the closer catchment area of the city of Bordeaux . While Ayguemorte-les-Graves still had 300 inhabitants in 1962, more recently there were 1256 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
The municipality belongs to the canton of La Brède in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux .
