Creon is a French town in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the catchment area of the city of Bordeaux . While Créon had 1,286 inhabitants in 1962, it currently has 4697 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
The municipality is the main town (chef-lieu) of the canton of Créon in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux .
