Martillac is a French commune in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality is located in the closer catchment area of the city of Bordeaux . While Martillac still had 877 inhabitants in 1962, there are currently 3067 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
