Le Bouscat is a French city with 23,824 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The city is located in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux and is the capital (French: chef-lieu ) of its own canton .

The city is integrated into the local public transport network by tram line C and the TBC bus lines . Another tram line D, which serves large parts of the city and the neighboring communities, is under construction and should be completed in 2017. Le Bouscat is connected to the Bordeaux ring road and thus to the French trunk road network through junction no. 7 of the A630 autoroute .
