Bouliac ( Occitan Boliac ) is a French town with 3631 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the canton of Cenon in the Arrondissement of Bordeaux . The inhabitants are called Bouliacais .

geography

Bouliac is a banlieue in the southeast of Bordeaux on the Garonne River and is located in the wine-growing region of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux . Bouliac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Floirac in the north, Tresses in the northeast, Carignan-de-Bordeaux in the east and southeast, Latresne in the south and Bègles in the west.

The national route 230 runs through the municipality .
