The Canton Cenon is a French administrative unit in the Arrondissement Bordeaux in the Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main place is Cenon . Alain David ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 1998 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Cenon included the five municipalities Artigues-près-Bordeaux , Beychac-et-Caillau , Cenon , Montussan and Yvrac . Its layout corresponded to an area of 45.28 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 3355.
