The canton Mérignac-2 is a French canton in the Arrondissement Bordeaux in the Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; its main town is Mérignac . Jacques Fergeau ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 1998 .
