The Canton Bordeaux-5 is a French constituency in Arrondissement of Bordeaux , in Gironde and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; Its main town is Bordeaux , and Matthieu Rouveyre has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2008.
The canton consists of part of the city of Bordeaux with a total of 51,812 inhabitants (as of 2017): until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton had the INSEE code 3312.
