The Canton Carbon-Blanc was by 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Bordeaux in the Gironde in the region Aquitaine .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the departments as part of what was then the Bordeaux district .
With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Bordeaux.
