Frédéric Gros

Frédéric Gros (born November 30, 1965 in Saint-Cyr-l'École , Yvelines department , France ) is a French philosopher and connoisseur of the life and ideas of Michel Foucault .

Life

Gros attended the École normal supérieure in Paris from 1986 . His thesis for his doctorate in 1999 was entitled Théorie de la connaissance et histoire des savoirs .

Gros is Professor of Political Thought at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris . He also teaches at the University of Paris-Est-Créteil-Val-de-Marne .
