Frame link

Frame Link (also FrameLink or Framelink , sometimes with the suffix Plus ) is a switching data transmission network of Deutsche Telekom based on the data transmission technology Frame Relay . In 1998 Frame Link offered a maximum bandwidth of 2 Mbit / sec.

Frame Link enables voice / data integration (“Voice over Data”). The transmission takes place via fixed virtual connections (PVC- Permanent Virtual Connections). Deutsche Telekom guarantees an availability of 99.99% (national) for the FrameLink Plus network.
