François Lafortune (marksman, 1932)

François Jacques Marie Gérard "Frans" Lafortune (born December 7, 1932 in Visé , Belgium ; † April 18, 2020 ) was a Belgian sports shooter .

Lafortune has participated in seven Olympic Games. He is one of the athletes with the most participations . He contested all of his Olympic competitions in rifle shooting, but in no case came near the medal spots.

Lafortune came from a family of successful sport shooters. Besides him, his father François Lafortune senior and his brothers Hubert and Marcel also took part in the Olympic Games.
