At the XVII. At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome , six sports shooting competitions were held. The venues were the Campo di Tiro a volo Lazio (clay pigeon shooting), the Poligono di Cesano (free rifle) and the Poligono di Tiro Umberto I (other disciplines).
