Gustav Kaufmann (born August 23, 1918 in Schaan ; † January 20, 2015 in Schellenberg ) was a sports shooter from Liechtenstein .

Life

Gustav Kaufmann was born in Schaan and was one of a total of 13 children in the family. Due to supply needs, he grew up with his grandmother in Triesenberg from the age of two . When she died in 1925, he returned to Schaan to live with his family. At the age of 15 he was trained and learned the trade of master butcher and ran his own butcher's shop in Mauren for years . In addition, Kaufmann was a father of four.

At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome , he competed in the small caliber disciplines of 50 meters lying down and 50 meters in three-position competitions. He was 73rd in the prone position and 65th in the three-position fight.
