François Lamorinière

François Lamorinière (born April 28, 1828 in Antwerp , † January 3, 1911 in Antwerp) was a Belgian landscape painter and etcher.

Lamorinière received his first training at the academy in Antwerp and then studied after nature. He preferred to depict flat areas of Belgium in realistic representations, whereby he particularly strived for a fine mood.

He also etched 24 sheets. He owned the large gold medal from the Brussels Exhibition (1857) and a third medal from the World Exhibition in Paris in 1878 .
