François d'Épenoux (2012)

François d'Épenoux (* 1963 ) is a French writer .

Life

François d'Épenoux studied Political Science from 1982 to 1988 at the Panthéon-Assas University and the Paris-Nanterre University . He made his novel debut as a writer in 1998 with Danemark espéranto . Since then, seven more novels have been published by 2014, none of which have been translated into German. Two of his books have so far been adapted for the cinema. For example, in 2008 Jean Becker directed d'Épenoux's second novel Deux jours à tuer , published in 2001, starring Albert Dupontel and Marie-Josée Croze . On the screenplay of Tage or Stunden , d'Épenoux worked with both Becker and Eric Assous , with all three receiving a nomination for the best adapted screenplay at the 2009 César French film award .

François d'Épenoux is married and has three children.
