Frances Altick (born February 22, 1994 in Shreveport ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Altick mainly plays on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has not yet won a tournament. The first professional tournament she played in July 2013 was the US $ 10,000 tournament in Fort Worth , where she won her first matches and only lost 6: 2, 1: 6 and 0: 6 as a qualifier in the round of 16 against Catherine Harrison . A year later she reached the quarter-finals at the same point in the tournament, where she was also only just defeated in three sets with 4: 6, 6: 3 and 3: 6 against Jessica Ho . Altick achieved her best result so far when she reached the final at the same tournament in 2015, where she lost 3: 6 and 1: 6 to her final opponent Ulrikke Eikeri .

Personal

Altick graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Psychology in 2016 . She played there for four years in the Southeastern Conference to the team of Vanderbilt Commodores , with whom she 2015, the women's team championships of the NCAA won Division I.
