Francesco Mulè (born December 3, 1926 in Rome , † November 4, 1984 ibid) was an Italian actor .

Life

Mulè is the son of the composer and director of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia , Giuseppe Mulè . After attending the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica , he made his film debut in 1953 in Il sole negli tatting . On stage he showed his talent for comic material for the first time in Senza Reter , in which he became known in the following years . He achieved further public success with his television appearances, where, in addition to shows, he also shot a number of famous commercials from 1968 to 1973 alongside Solvi Stübing as a dying of thirst in the desert for the beer brand Birra Peroni . His film appearances were limited to comical supporting roles.
