from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Francesco del Brina (also known as Francesco Brini ) (* around 1540; † 1586 in Florence ) was an Italian mannerist painter .

His works correspond to the conservative tradition of the Florentine school, which is reflected as the legacy of Ridolfo Ghirlandaio . He specialized in the manufacture of devotional motifs, over time he began to introduce small innovations in style that give a hint to paintings by Andrea del Sarto . Giorgio Vasari described him as a painter in 1568.

Works

Some of his works are in the Santa Felicita Church in Florence.
