Franchi SpA is an Italian manufacturer of shotguns and other handguns .

history

The company was founded in Brescia in 1868 by Luigi Franchi . Franchi SpA was run as a family business until 1987, and has been part of the Beretta group of companies since 1993 . With the acquisition by Beretta, the company's headquarters were relocated to Urbino .
