Francis Wise

Francis Wise (born June 3, 1695 in Oxford , † October 5, 1767 at Ellisfield ) was an English archivist .

Life

Francis Wise studied at Oxford University . Later he was an archivist at Oxford University. He occupied several pastoral positions, including pastor in Ellisfield from 1726. From 1745 Francis Wise was a member of the Society of Antiquaries of London .
