Francisco García (cyclist)
Francisco Tomas García Rodríguez (born November 5, 1975 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish road cyclist .
Francisco García began his career in 1998 with the Spanish cycling team Vitalicio Seguros-Grupo Generali . In his first year there he took part in the Tour de France , but left after the fourth stage. In the following year, he was twice stage ninth at the Tour de France and finished in 26th place in the overall standings. In 1999 García also won a stage at the Clásico RCN . In 2001 he moved to ONCE-Eroski , in 2002 to Acqua & Sapone and in 2003 to Antarte-Rota dos Móveis . In the 2005 season he was successful in the Spanish one-day race Gran Premio Área Metropolitana .
