Francisco Javier Laviña

Francisco Javier Laviña was a Uruguayan politician .

Laviña he sat in the 10th legislative period from February 15, 1868 to February 13, 1870 as a member of the Department of Durazno in the Cámara de Representantes . In 1868 he held the office of First Vice President of the Chamber. The following year he then held the position of President of the Chamber. On February 14, 1870, he then changed the Chamber of Parliament and was from that day until November 22, 1872 Senator of Florida , an office that he filled in the subsequent 11th legislative period from February 10, 1873 to January 24, 1876. In the Senate he was also a member of the Chamber Presidium in 1871 and 1872 in the function of Second Vice President. He was also president of the Comisión Permanente del Poder Legislativo in the years 1870 to 1873. From February 15, 1882 to February 14, 1885 he was elected as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for Soriano . Here he took on the role of Second Vice-President in 1882, that of First Vice-President the following year, and in 1884 he was again President of the Chamber.
