Francisco Manuel Blanco
Francisco Manuel Blanco (born November 24, 1778 in Navianos , Castile, † April 1, 1845 in Manila ) was a Spanish botanist. Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Blanco ".
Life
Francisco Manuel Blanco was a Spanish Augustinian monk who studied botany and lived in the Philippines.
Honors
The genus Blancoa in the soap tree family (Sapindaceae) was named in his honor by Carl Ludwig Blume in 1849 .
