Franco De Chiara
Franco De Chiara (* 1948 in Rome ) is an Italian filmmaker and author.
Life
De Chiara, son of the dramaturge Ghigo De Chiara , initially worked in film, from 1973, as sound engineer , then soon as assistant director. After appearing as an actor, he wrote, directed and produced Dentro casa in 1983 , in which he also played a leading role. The film was a failure; De Chiara withdrew from film work and initially turned to the theater. He later worked for RAI in various functions.
In 2009 De Chiara published the volume of short stories Non più di nove minuti .
