Franco Micalizzi

Franco Micalizzi (born December 21, 1939 in Rome ) is an Italian film composer .

Micalizzi wrote his first of fifty film scores in 1967 and was best known for his groovy pieces for Italian police films. For many years he was the main composer for Umberto Lenzi's films and often worked for Terence Hill / Bud Spencer films.

In the 1980s he founded the Micalizzi Family Orchestra . In 2003 he was elected to the board of the Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori .
