action
The American General Foster, German Major Mannfred Roland, the reporter Sean O'Hara and the Jewish actress Annelise Ackerman came together in Berlin to organize the 1936 Olympic Games . The film treats the fates of individuals at that time in episodes.
criticism
"A questionable action film in a war setting that reveals a problematic understanding of heroes and makes war appear as an adventure without any political or historical reference."
"The film strings together episodes from the lives of numerous characters during the Second World War and mostly received bad reviews for its" missing plotline ", the multiple use of documentary recordings and some weaknesses in the characterization of the protagonists."
