Surname

The name franjos was chosen because of the first letters of the first name Fran z- Jos ef. This is the first name of the publisher (Franz-Josef Herbst) and the author (Franz-Josef Schulte) of the first published game.

history

The publishing house was founded in 1987 by Franz-Josef Herbst as a small publishing house, the name refers to his first name. The first game came out in 1987 and was called Aladdin's Legacy . Since then, one or two new games have been produced every year. Above all, board games for adults and families with children are published. In addition to classic multi-person board games, the publisher also has a range of two-person games in its range. Most games have a manageable playing time of a maximum of one hour.
