Frank Ceara

Frank Ceara is a Dominican singer and actor.

Ceara was a member of the Emotions quartet in the 1980s , led by Papa Molina . He sang numerous radio jingles and was a background singer for Juan Luis Guerra , Emmanuel , Olga Tañón , Celia Cruz and others. As the lead singer of the rock group Empiphis he appeared at the Expo 92 in Seville.

His first album under the title Bachata Magic was released in 1992 and was nominated for the Premio Lo Nuestro . His 1994 single Lluvia De Besos was so successful that it was used as the theme song for the soap Amor De Papel as the theme song . In 1995 he represented his country at the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile. He then wrote songs for musicians like Milly Quezada and performed with singer Audrey Campos in the late 1990s . He went on concert tours through Central America and appeared with Maridalia Hernández in the musical Los miserables . In 1997 he received an ASCAP award for his ballad Ednita .
