Frank Covelli
Frank Covelli ( Frank George Covelli; born April 2, 1937 in Paducah , Kentucky ) is a former American javelin thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was eliminated from qualification.
In 1967 he won the Pan American Games in Winnipeg , and in 1968 he failed again in the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in Mexico City .
In 1964 and 1968 he became US champions, starting in 1963 for Arizona State University , NCAA champions. His personal best of 86.77 m, he set on September 1, 1968 in Long Beach .
