Frank M. Rinderknecht

Frank M. Rinderknecht (born November 24, 1955 in Zurich ) is a Swiss automotive visionary and founder of Rinspeed AG.

Life

Rinderknecht went on a science high school in Zurich and graduated there in 1975 with Matura C from. After a stay abroad in Los Angeles in 1975 and 1976, he began studying mechanical engineering at the ETH in Zurich. While studying, he began importing sunroofs from the United States and manufacturing vehicles for people with disabilities in 1977.

In 1979 he founded Rinspeed AG, which promotes new mobility concepts and drives. Rinspeed AG has achieved international recognition with its concept vehicles , which are presented annually at the CES in Las Vegas and at the Geneva Motor Show.
