Frank Pietrzok (born June 20, 1964 in Xanten ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and he was a state councilor in Bremen .

biography

Family, education and work

Pietrzok did his Abitur at the municipal collegiate high school in Xanten and studied political science at the Free University of Berlin . In 1991 he became managing director of the Berlin Working Group for Civic Education and in 1993 managing director and education officer at the Socialist Youth of Germany - Die Falken (SJD) in the Bremen district association. After serving as a member of parliament from 1999 to 2015, he became parliamentary leader of the SPD parliamentary group in the Bremen parliament.

Pietrzok is married and has one son.

politics

In 1995 Pietrzok became a member of the SPD. From June 1999 he was a member of Bremen's citizenship until he resigned prematurely on November 8, 2005.

From July 2015 to August 2019 he was Bremen State Councilor and representative of the Senator for Children and Education Claudia Bogedan (SPD). His successor was Arnhild Moning .
