Arnhild Moning

Arnhild Moning (* 1953 in Herford ) is a German political officer ( SPD ). Since August 2019 she has been State Councilor for the Senator for Children and Education of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

Life

Moning comes from Herford. She studied to be a teacher at the Philipps University in Marburg and worked as a consultant at Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen Bremen , before joining the education department of the Bremen Senate in 1993. In the following years she held various positions there, most recently as head of the department's financial management department.

In the course of the formation of the Senate Bovenschulte in August 2019, Senator Claudia Bogedan appointed her as Bremen State Councilor for the Senator for Children and Education of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen. She thus succeeded Frank Pietrzok .

Moning is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany .
