The Senator for Children and Education
The Senator for Children and Education of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is the education senator responsible for education as the highest state authority and thus represents the Ministry of Education of the State of Bremen. Claudia Bogedan (SPD) has been Senator for Education in the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen since 2015 . State councilor is Arnhild Moning (SPD).
history
In the first Senate after the Second World War , the “Education” division was part of the Senator for Schools and Education . Often the senator was also responsible for the areas of “science” or “culture”. Today these areas lie with the Senator for Science and Ports and the Senator for Culture .
