The Senator for Justice and the Constitution
The Senator for Justice and Constitution of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is the Justice Senator responsible for the area of justice as the highest state authority and thus represents the Ministry of Justice of the State of Bremen. Claudia Schilling (SPD) has been Senator for Justice in the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen since 2019 . Björn Tschöpe (SPD) is the State Councilor .
history
After the Second World War , Theodor Spitta ( BDV ) was the first Justice Senator in the Vagts Senate . From 1919 to 1933 he was responsible for the judiciary and education. From 1995 to 2007, the Justice Department was also part of the Bremen Mayor .
