Frank Retzlaff

Frank Retzlaff is a former German basketball player .

Life

Retzlaff, a 2.10 meter tall indoor player, was a member of the team of the GDR serial champions BSG AdW Berlin. He was awarded the title of Master of Sports , in 1984 he was GDR basketball player of the year. Furthermore, Retzlaff was a long-time GDR national player.

Retzlaff, who in the 1970s at the Berlin Humboldt University study in the subjects Geography Sports and graduated, worked until 2016 with the rank of Chief Police Commissioner as head of the study and training group elite sports for the police of Saxony-Anhalt and was sports commissioner of police college Saxony - Stop in Aschersleben .

As a basketball player for old men, Retzlaff took part in German championships as well as international championships such as world championships and, as a trainer, also supervised the German over 45 selection at the European championships in 2012 and 2014, among others.
