Frank Satzky

Frank Satzky (* 1960 ) is a German musician and director of the Magdeburg Boys' Choir .

Life

Satzky sang in the Dresden Boys Choir for 10 years . After studying singing at the University of Music in Dresden and studying choir conducting, he worked as a voice trainer and choir assistant at the “Musisches Gymnasium” in Schwerin .

The foundation and development of the Magdeburg boys' choir was the reason for Frank Satzky to take up the position of second choir director at the theater of the state capital in Magdeburg in 1985 . With the beginning of his activity at the concert hall "Georg Philipp Telemann" (1988) he intensified the work with the singers of the choir.

Since 1994 he has been working full-time as a singing teacher at the Georg Philipp Telemann Conservatory (Music School of the State Capital Magdeburg) and as a choir director of the Magdeburg Boys' Choir. In addition, he has a teaching position for leaf singing and conducting at the Institute for Music at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
